ABOUT LAURA
STORY OF THE WORK
Laura Hausler is a personal movement guide and educator. Laura has worked in movement training since 2014. She opened her own business in 2018 in Seattle, WA. She recently relocated to Franklin, TN. After starting her original business Pilates & Scoliosis and converting her studio into an online movement consulting and training offer in 2020, she renamed her work as LAURA HAUSLER MOVEMENT.
Laura’s teaching has woven together her movement and artistic abilities to create bespoke experiences for her participants. She informed by her research and personal experiences with the musculoskeletal disability of living with scoliosis. She has a passion to share creative and spacious experiences through movement, sound, and compassion with all people. Her work comes from a love for kinematics, beauty, and transformation. Laura has a passion for customized and thoughtful movement in a way that leaves her participants refreshed and informed. Laura has found that mindful and holistic concepts of the body allow people to connect with their body and work with their specific goals. The body knows what the body needs and Laura very much honors participants innate wisdom. The techniques Laura uses to facilitate body connection are those she has experienced repeated results from implementation. If you visit the techniques list you can explore the available options for your sessions.
The Covid-19 pandemic paused Laura’s in person work and left space for Laura to experience and explore new work to introduce to her participants. Now more than ever Laura is leaving space for her clients to enjoy a sense of liberation, freedom, and body neutrality.
Your body knows the way. We look forward to seeing you soon.

I am so grateful for the work Laura is doing with Scoliosis!
“Laura easily combines her thorough understanding of movement with an intuitive
understanding of how the body works and what it needs. This results in personalized
selection of exercises each session.”

I have really progressed in a short period of time and my body feels much better for it. Laura is a very personable individual and I always look forward to a session with her.
